Fear
Cast away your fear and dismay, and yet thy must deny the wile of the false swagger ye would present. Face not threats with a recoil, rather a grin of victory shall don thine face. Fear is the tool of your enemy, the sword they carry most silently and cruelly; blunt the blade with the heart of a true audacity ripe with vulgar impudence and know you are the victor even if death should come for thee.
Greed
Take all that you may, feed thy desire with unfettered vigor. To shy away from your prize is not the path to glory for to do so is akin to cowardice. Steal if you must, but do so with tact for the heart of a woman must be stolen with her spirit willing first and her body soon after. To desire fortune is the right bound to all men in this realm, it gives man a purpose most mundane yet fulfilling; there is no shame in it.
Freedom
Submit to no being which does not care for you as a child would a parent, to stand as a man without the weight of chains burdening your body, mind, spirit, or heart is your personal duty to yourself. Be free from all laws that burden you, the only words you must obey are the tenants of the faith, these words stand above all others to guide your path of freedom to be an eternal and gentle travel.
The Eternal Sea
Death is not the end of life, rather it shall be a new beginning for the faithful. Those who have served their deity not as slaves but as valiant free men are granted the greatest of honors if they desire it. Rest a body by the shore and by next moonrise it shall be gone, carried out to the sea. Those who join the sea are united with all those who have served just as they had, and beyond that they shall be graced with the visage and wisdom of Varnoc for a thousand life times. Those who join shall be given a sense of immortality for their eternal spirit is given life once again in many forms.
Clergy & Churches
Varnoc is the lord and master of the seas and the very water which courses throughout all of Zellune, as such he is the master of all the sea creatures. His fury manifests as cleansing waves that crash upon those who stand against him, walls of water standing as tall as the clouds foretell of a grave blunder. Being the Patron of Courage, Desire, Freedom, Trickery leads many to deem him the God of the Selfish, comically redeemed God of the Shellfish by some others.
The Clergy of Varnoc is widely varied, spreading from Humans, Goblins, Beastmen, and more, this growth is believed to have been caused by the establishment of the Pantheon system of belief and the spread of the Deljian people throughout the world after their displacement at the hands of the Karthite. A majority of people who rely upon the sea for their wealth such as sailors, fishermen, pirates, and merchants have joined the faith in hopes of safer voyages across the sea, many of them do swear to the ease of tides after converting. The faith is not lead by any sole holyman, rather the church's priests are directly supported by the Deljian Council and they act as the highest power for the interests of the clergy; as such Deljian Cuirassiers are considered a religious order of warriors by some despite being part of the faith is not a requirement. Because of the differences in values and the conflicts between the Karthite and Deljian people many scholars have reached the conclusion that Varnoc and Roanth are mortal enemies.
Chapels for the Church are normally built within walking distance of large bodies of water over tradition, many ships have small chapels within them for prayer and guidance. Upon the highest point of the chapel is always a large pedestal for offerings to Varnoc, things such as wine, jewelry, and Roro pipe leaf are left as tribute. The largest Chapel to Varnoc stood in Deljia, however it is uncertain if the Chapel still stands.

-Code of the Sea-
Take the bounty of the sea, but guard the livelihood of the sea for it is your own.
To turn your blade upon your kin is the most vile of sin.
Respect thy foe in death if he has proven a worthy bastard by your call.
The sea parts for no man, only for the Gods.
Stand strong to your final moments, you are always in Varnoc's sight.
