What is the Beastly Bestiary?

To those of you who are unfamiliar with the term "Bestiary" I wish to clarify or familiarize the term to everyone. A bestiary is not something I made up first off, actual Bestiaries were made during the Middle Ages (12th-15th cent.) with the purpose of creating a tome with base knowledge of foreign creatures in the world. Bestiaries in history had fantastical artwork of creatures we know quite well today but in the yesteryear of man were more so strange enigmas of nature, such as the lion or crane. In conclusion to the understanding of the term "Bestiary", a Bestiary is a book which records creatures of the world, a lengthy compendium of beasts. Now that you're familiar with the term we shall sink our teeth into the meat of this concept.
The Beastly Bestiary takes the concept of the traditional Bestiary and is influenced by the Bestiaries in modern games such as D&D's Fiend Folio and various Japanese Roleplaying Games. A compound guide to the various monsters and creatures that roam the land, a vast majority of these creatures will be threatening to the common man and have very little ability to converse with mortal-men. Playable races are not to be added to the Beastly Bestiary, and as such no race in the Beastly Bestiary can be played unless as the part of a monster to be slain. Player Monsters will often be assigned to players who are trusted to commit to their role as a monster rather than a intelligent mortal such as a human or dwarf.
So how does this affect your lives you may ask, well I'll tell you. You all have a stake in the creatures present within the Beastly Bestiary, every creature within the compendium is to be written by players just like you! Staff members and players alike will be able to send in their own suggestions for monsters and beasts, they can be big and threatening or small and comical even! Of course everyone will have to apply, but the fate of your application does not solely rest upon me, I will consult the other staff members beforehand to reach a decision which is fair and just. Don't feel down if your application is denied, you can try as much as you want without limitations, and even when you're denied you will be given a sound and clear reason as to why your beast was rejected.
Another thing, while this edition of the Beastly Bestiary is visible on the forums it's not exactly very useful for character IRP because using this information in roleplay is a bit meta-gamey, but fret not for we have something to get around that! The Beastly Bestiary will have in-game editions which are written in a far more roleplay friendly manner, characters in roleplay can purchase, obtain, loot, and even create entries if they have studied the creature well enough!
~Rules~
1. All players must apply for their creature to be added to the Bestiary, bar administrators.
2. All Creatures must fit with the lore, legendary entries as well.
3. No overpowered or deity creatures, you can attempt to submit one but they will be denied if staff deems it far too maddening.
4. Do not submit playable races to be added.
5. Legendary Entries cannot be submitted.
6. All entries must follow the format.
